I always start out these posts the same way but once again,it's been awhile since I've posted. So...Christmas has happened. We were able to spend about 10 days in Calgary with Marc's family and Santa found us! Aden wantedOptimus Prime and Tinker Toys and Lincoln got a bouncy horse and a toolstation. It was great to spend time with family. Jen had a New Year's party for the kids and then we were able to do another New Year's party with the Chins and kids-we rang in the New Year at 5:30pm. It was great so thanks to Lisa and Jen for being willing to put on partys. Too bad our camera battery was dead for most of the activities we did in Calgary so not a lot of pics to post. There is one of us at the Airdrie lights we went to Dec. 30th-it was freezing!!!
We celebrated my 27th birthday, Jan 3rd,driving through hazardous if not impossible to travel on, so said the road report, road conditions in Montana. We left Calgary on the 2nd and made it home the afternoon ofthe 4th. It was a scary ride home but we made it.
We sorted through old toys, made a donation box and thenwere able to bring the new Christmas toys into our apartment. We've been a week back into the swing of things and I'm finally starting to feel like we're getting caught up.
Today we went sledding after Marc came home from doing homework. He's been really good so far this semester at going and getting things done (we're only a week in though.J Lincoln also got a big dump truck from my dad for Christmas so for the first part of sledding, that's what he did instead. Finally, we had a friend of Aden's overlast night so we took out the train tracks that have been stored and theyplayed for about 2 hours quite contently. It's been a few months since Aden's played with trains. No pictures of him and Ethan playingbut I did take some tonight with the three boys playing-it was one of the first times Lincoln didn't wreck the tracks but actually played.
The next big thing on our list is Aden's birthday party. He's decided he wants to go swimming so we'll see if between Marc, I and a friend's mom, if we can keep 6 kids from drowning. J
