Well, we've lost our camera so pictures may be slow in coming until we find it or my mom sends me some pictures from hers.  We had a good Christmas-our first in our own home since we've been married (9 years).  We usually at one or the other's family.  It was nice. My mom and her husband were able to come up and spend a few days which was great.  It was fun to meet Tom and get to know him better.  The boys got everything they wanted for Christmas and more :)  Marc had smaller Christmases growing up and mine were a bit over the top so we're still trying to find a happy medium.

We're also ready to announce we're expecting our third at the end of July so I'm just going into my 10th week.  We've got awhile yet but mostly we're excited missed with quite a bit of fear of being outnumbered by children and how that will change our family.  We didn't get a Christmas letter mailed out or even any Christmas baking done.  I blame that on not feeling the best but hopefully next year.

We're doing well and hope you and yours had a Merry Christmas... (click here to read the rest)

So I am not so sure about the real life part, but I am starting to settle into my new job and into wha they call a regular family life. Personally, I love my work, but I sure miss school! Brooke and the kids are settling nicely into our new home and we are enjoying a nice cool summer.

This weekend we were finally able to get to the mountains with my brother Jonathan, his wife Jen and daugther Makayla. We went to one of the old hiking spots I used to go to as a youngman Grotto Canyon, just outside of Canmore. It was beautiful and nice to get away. Hiking with kids is a whole different story, I swear it did not used to take as long:)

But we got some good pictures ENJOY!

Well on July 2nd I took my oath and an now a US citizen. I am very honored to have been able to take this opppurtunity and be united with my wonderful wife and two sons as citizens of this beauitful contry. The is so much good in America and I have seen it in many parts of this land. I also love Canada and now my heart is bound to two nations whom I will and have sworn to serve and defend.

Here are the news stories in the local papers. They also have video of the ceremony. ENJOY!

Well I have been in Calgary for the 10 days looking forwork. Things in the States are very tight in trying to get a job; in fact things in Calgary are similar. However, I did have a phone interview with Wood's Homes Youth and Family Services and I felt it went great.

So I came up for an interview and I've gotten an offer, which I will sign on Friday. So looks like were moving to Calgary end of next month!  I am excited and going crazy trying to get ready and figure things out for moving.

It is a hard move for us because of our great friends in theUS and we will especially miss Brooke's family.  But I am getting my US Citizenship on the 2nd of July and getting my license in Utah, just in case we end up in the States down the road.

The place I am going to work is called Eastside Family Clinic. It's a free walk-in clinic for anyone needing mental health services. Things are sure different as far mental health in Canada, but I'll figure it out. I start August 4th.

Well here is the link to the place... (click here to read the rest)

Marc did it!  He graduated on April 24, 2009 with his Masters in Social Work.  My mom's brother passed away a few days before so with that and graduation, we had a lot of family in town.  Thanks to all you made it.  We are now in the process of looking for jobs-it's more than a little scary to be all grown up and having to find work but hopefully something will come along soon.

Marc also has his citizenship interview May 20th so hopefully he'll pass the test!

He did have one job offer so far in Ely, Nevada. It's a very small town in the middle of central Nevada at a boys ranch for troubled youth.  He would be one of the therapists there.  There are still some things that need to be worked out so we're still looking into things but we'll see.

Lincoln turned 2 on April 28th!  He weighs in at 20 lbs 6 oz.  He's pretty little with most people thinking he's about 14 months old.  They think he runs so well for his age :)  We've had a bit of a struggle the last week with potty training. He was doing so well but lately he's been... (click here to read the rest)

I've really got to post some pics but it's past 11pm and I'm tired so maybe tomorrow.  Lincoln has done great with potty training-we've been accident free for about 5 days now-both number 1 and number 2-YEAH!!!  Hopefully this continues but I think it will.  We only ever made it to size 2 diapers-he's a little guy.  We get weighed again the end of April and we'll post stats then but month and a half ago, he weighed 19 lbs 11 oz-he'll be 2 April 28th.

In other news, Marc has less than a month left of school so we gearing up for the final stretch. BYU doesn't have a spring break so it's been go, go, go.  Hopefully, we'll find a job soon.  He'll be graduating with his Masters in Social Work.

I got to spend the last weekend in Boise with my dad and sisters for our yearly girls' weekend-we missed last year because Traci had her baby early so last time we had a girls weekend in Boise, Lincoln was about 6 months old so he came along.

This time, Amber and I were the ones with no babies and man it was so fun to have no kids to... (click here to read the rest)

We've spent the last week attempting to potty train Lincoln.  What a nightmare!!! He's only 22 months so still pretty early but we thought maybe he was ready since he would bring me a diaper just about every time he went.  Starting last Thursday, we've tried to stay home as much as we could and see how it goes.  It went horrible.  By Friday night, after two full days of no shower and pretty much going nowhere, I turned it over to Marc for the evening.  I said if he doesn't show some kind of sign of getting this by Sunday, I'm all done.  We would take him every 20-30 min and then every 5-10 min when he didn't go after that.  By the time we'd get to about 45 min, he'd sit for about 10 min on the toilet and nothing.  No joke, about 30 seconds after he got up, he pee right in his underwear-happened almost every time.  Final straw was on Friday night when Marc had been sitting with him for about 15 min-it'd been about an hour since he'd gone.  Finally, Marc gives up and is going to let him get down.  Linc stands right up on the...
